At Evri Premium, we’re looking for a high-performing Sortation Manager to lead and deliver excellence across our fast-paced sortation operation.

This is a critical leadership role where you’ll drive performance, manage large teams, and ensure parcels are processed safely, efficiently, and accurately—all while maintaining the highest service standards.


About the Role

You’ll take full ownership of the sortation operation, ensuring all activity meets operational targets while continuously improving productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. You’ll play a key role in protecting revenue, maintaining compliance, and driving a high-performance culture.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily sortation activities to consistently achieve performance targets
  • Manage parcel flow to ensure on-time processing and dispatch
  • Monitor and drive KPIs including productivity, accuracy, and throughput
  • Strengthen revenue protection by identifying and reducing financial risks, inefficiencies, and process gaps

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and operatives
  • Plan and manage labour effectively, including shift and resource allocation
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure operational continuity by managing short-notice resourcing needs
  • Promote engagement, wellbeing, and a positive team culture

Health & Safety

  • Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Lead by example to promote a strong safety-first culture
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and operational standards
  • Support audits and drive improvements where required

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvements across efficiency, productivity, and cost
  • Drive operational improvement initiatives and embed best practices

Stakeholder Management

  • Work collaboratively with transport, final mile, planning, and customer service teams
  • Provide clear performance updates to senior leadership
  • Partner with other sites to share best practice and ensure consistency

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a high-volume logistics, warehouse, or sortation environment
  • Strong leadership and team management capability
  • Experience delivering performance through KPI management and process improvement
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting performance data
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
